Stop the presses! The U.S. Senate has voted to make English the national language. After all those years I’ve spent studying Esperanto. What a waste!

I’ve been studying cuccaraccia, since they’re going to be ruling the world in another 20 years or so.

  2. Snake says:

Once again, Gatemouth, you have shown yourself to be a man of exquisite learning and refinement. What I’m saying, in other words, is that I have no idea what the hell you are talking about.

  3. ZARDOZ says:

  4. Snake says:

Hey Buddy, din’t you read the sign? English bespoked here.

  5. gatemouth says:

Sorry–I meant cockroachese. Because of the theory that they can survive just about anything. Whereas we’re well on our way to wiping ourselves out.

  6. Snake says:

Thanks, Gatemouth, for clarifying. Maybe I’ll become bilingual after all.

  7. I’ve missed visiting your blog Snake. Life hasn’t been so great in the WFW realm.

  8. Snake says:

It’s good to hear from you, WFW. Sorry to hear things haven’t been great but I hope they pick up soon. I mean pronto!

  9. DrMax says:

It’s good to see the Republicans spending their remaining time in power addressing the really important issues of the day.

  10. Snake says:

Right, Doc, they sure know how to pick ‘em.

  11. Oldroses says:

Just think of all the bilingual signs that will have to changed. The bilingual program teachers that will be unemployed. The court translators with no one to translate for. It boggles the mind. A truly revolutionary idea. I’m not sure we’re ready for English-only.

  12. Nice going, every one enjoys your work.
