It’s time for Bush to cease and desist with his stupid pronouncements on Iraq, about how we’ve got to stay and finish the job, etc. No one is listening to him anymore. He’s like a kid at school who’s desperate to get someone, anyone, to pay attention to him. The more he’s ignored, the louder he gets. But this man, our esteemed president, has absolutely zero credibility, especially after his erstwhile sage Rummy admitted our strategy in Iraq was a disaster and after Kofi Annan said the obvious: that the people in Iraq are worse off today–as a result of the actions of George W. Bush and friends–than they were under that ruthless dictator, Saddam Hussein.

Yes, he said what many of us have said. The difference is, when he talks, the whole world listens.
& someone told me dub’yah said-not too long ago-he was going to “leave it to the next President” to decide what to do [in Iraq]. Any truth to this? (I wouldn’t doubt it for a second…)
Hadn’t heard, MP, though that would be a long wait. I’d be happy if W. stepped aside now, though not if trigger happy Cheney takes over.
Oh and now I randomly find that one post from over a year ago and now I’m forced to look at the new ones. Oh how addicting these blogs are!
Anyways, I agree on this one I read in that when someone gets angry about Bush and something, I think to myself does anyone still care about what he says? It’s silly to even listen to him. He should bring a tape reccorder with him instead.
On that note, the reason I’ve decided to post was to bring up the point of the press asking really dumb and redundant questions. You’ve got people given the ability to ask a question to the president of the United States and for the third time in a single interview they ask about ‘the dissapointment in Iraq.’ If were tired of hearing it, why do they keep asking him about it?
