THE GREATEST MIND SINCE EINSTEIN — by Steve Nadis

Yesterday I spoke with a man many have called the greatest physicist since Einstein. I can’t evaluate that claim–or know how to rank the physicists of the past century–though I’m certain this guy would come near the top of any reasonable list one might construct. It was our third phone conversation in the past five years, and they’ve always been quite brief. I’ve kept them short for two reasons: First, I could tell he was no windbag and had no inclination to blab on indefinitely. Second, I was mindful of the claim that he might possess the “greatest mind since Einstein.” If that’s really true, I’d like him to apply that mind to unraveling the mysteries of the universe and not waste it on the likes of me.

    Thanks WFW but on this point I beg to differ.

    Next time, try a little more conversation. After all, even the greatest minds need stimulation to keep coming up with ideas. This could be a whole new line of work for you: Phone-A-Geek. They could subscribe to your service and depending on which subscription they chose, you could call them a couple of times a day/week/month just to “chat”.

    OR has a point, Snark. Next time you ring him(or did he buzz you?), have a list of fresh theories & “asides” to tantalize & inspire him… if you’re up to it.
    If that doesn’t help his productivity, there’s always the ’special’ brownie care-package. :O ;) 8/ {red-eight}

    Yes cousin, I was afraid he’d unravel me&he’d make quick work of it. Good suggestion OR: I’m always up for a good marketing scheme or scam. Hello MP; I see another one has started calling me “Snark.” I don’t grok that term gather, as Bush said, that it’s “kind of a negative.”
