SCARY MOVIE 6 — by Steve Nadis
I just wrote a post about a scary movie called “JESUS CAMP” in which I learned that one in four Americans (25%) are crazed Evangelical Christians. But in the debate last week among Republican presidential aspirants, three out of ten candidates (that’s 30% folks!) said they don’t believe in evolution. In other words, they pretty much disavow all of science. The fact that 30 percent of the leading Republican contenders hold such a neanderthal view is really pretty scary. But then you might start to wonder where our current president stands on this issue. He might not even have an opinion, as there’s a good chance that he–the so-called “leader of the free world”–really does not understand what the word “evolution” means. That’s kind of disturbing too. For don’t they say that those who cannot learn from evolution are doomed to repeat it?

“they pretty much disavow all of science”,
“those who cannot learn” from evolution are “doomed 2 repeat it”? HUH??? monkey-talk.
The only thing I’VE ‘learned’ recently is that Koko’s IQ tested out 5 point higher than dub’yah’s.
{And if Man evolved from monkeys & apes, why do we still have monkeys & apes? :O Ooo-a oo-a OO!}
I hadn’t heard about Koko’s test scores but what you say doesn’t surprise me.
Yup! 1 test pinned Koko- that famous gorilla- at about a 90 IQ, whereas they loaded a fancy computer program, up there in Harvard, w/ all of W’s speaks…& MIS-speaks & got an IQ result of 85.(Or so I hear)
U heard the latest, right? Dub’yah THANKED the Queen of England, today, for helping America celebrate it’s Bicentennial, back in 1776! :/~
That’s great, MP. I hadn’t heard of either thing. But the sad truth is, both are entirely believable.
I’ve been on vaca, so I’m just catching up on your posts. almost fell out of my chair laughing when you called candidates who don’t believe in evolution, “neanderthal”. You intended that little pun, right?
I intended something, OR, but is it really a pun?
