THE RAW AND THE HALF-BAKED — by Steve Nadis
There was an interesting statistic in today’s paper: 12 percent of self-employed men with home offices admit to having worked naked at some time or another. As a member of the class of self-employed men with home offices, I am shocked and mortified by that statistic. I’d like to assure any and all readers in the blogosphere that I have never worked in the raw. I have, however, worked in my underwear before. File that last tidbit under: “Too Much Information.”

LOL! Well… seeing that us self-employed are often officially on the job upon rising… & quite often working in “planning mode” as we retire, I suspect the summer months make such a statisitic quite unavoidable.
As far as working in your “shorts”, just ask Ms. Lewinsky…

I worked at home for a little over a year. I had one rule — always get dressed and never work in my pajamas.
Perhaps one reason you’ve never worked in the nude, Snark, is because you have to walk outside to get to your home office.
Not too many years ago, my office was just down the hall from my bedroom. I did not go with the 12% then though I easily could have. But I can’t see how my work would have benefitted from the lack of clothing.
