HALF FULL OR HALF EMPTY? — by Steve Nadis

People I know were recently talking about a friend of ours, worried about her lifestyle because they thought she spent the entire weekend at a nearby pub drinking. “That’s not true,” I said, rallying to her defense. “She doesn’t spend the WHOLE weekend drinking. She spends half the time standing outside smoking.”

Snake, The world needs more of your “half full” kind of guy. I am sure that your friend spent some time on the bathroom line as well, so you can’t say in full honestly that she spend the entire day drinking. Your kindness shines in this critical world. Mosley

Thanks Mosley, I appreciate the support. And, not to get too graphic, she might have spent part of the time throwing up in the bushes. –Snake

I hope that someone comes to my defense (if and when necessary) like you did for that nice lady. What with smoking, using the rest room and cleaning out her system (in a projectial way) she barely had time for the drink. What a gentleman you are for pointing that out to your friends!!!!

Does this mean ya can’t “smoke ‘em if ya got ‘em” in a Beantown bar now, for Chrissake?
    What’s this world coming to?
    -a social [only] smoker (M.P.)

Thanks Mosley & I do hope that when the time comes your friends will stand by you too. And yes, MP, you cannot smoke in a Beantown bar & that goes for the fair city of Cambridge too.
