This just in from the University of Haifa: Why Israeli Rodents Are More Cautious than Jordanian Ones — A series of studies carried out at the University of Haifa have found that rodent, reptile and ant lion species behave differently on either side of the Israel-Jordan border. Sigh. I suppose we’ll have to send in the U.N.’s team of entomologists to maintain peace. Why, oh why, can’t ants and lizards just learn to get along?
