ABOUT LAST NIGHT -- by Steve Nadis

Our daughter had her first sleepover last night. My wife mentioned that to a friend whose daughter used to have sleepovers often but now does it rarely. "I don't mind the sleepover part--the dinner, the movie, the wrestling them to bed," her friend said. "I just don't want to see those kids again in the morning. For me it's like one of those bad one-night stands you just want to be over with."

1 - Hee hee! Reminds me of a sleepover my daughter had years ago. We only have one bathroom. In the morning, everyone had to line up to use it. I happened to look down at their feet and there was our cat! He was (sitting) in line with everyone else. I don't know why. His litterbox wasn't in the bathroom. Maybe he just wanted to be where everyone else was. It was hysterical. (Comment this)

2 - Thanks OR. That is a good anecdote. And it gives us something to look forward to when the sleepover is at our house... --Snake (Comment this)
